Therapy Approach
As an integrative, trauma-informed therapist, I draw from a variety of healing modalities that center the mind, body, and spirit. My work is especially supportive for individuals seeking depth-oriented therapy, affirming care, and relational healing. Below is an overview of the modalities I weave into our work together.
Jungian Therapy
Jungian therapy invites us to explore the symbolic and often hidden parts of the psyche. I incorporate dream analysis, shadow work, synchronicity, archetypal patterns (including the anima/animus), and archetypal astrology. This modality is especially meaningful for those navigating identity, transitions, spiritual questions, or a desire to move beyond symptom management toward deeper insight.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy supports trauma resolution through reconnecting with the body and nervous system. My approach integrates Jungian-somatic principles, parts work (including IFS-informed practices), energy psychology, yoga therapy, reiki, and Gestalt awareness practices. This work is particularly supportive for trauma recovery, C-PTSD, chronic anxiety, or a sense of disconnection from the self.
CBT & DBT (Behavioral Modalities)
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for boundary formation, emotional regulation, and support with depression and anxiety. These structured modalities are often paired with deeper work to provide practical tools for change while addressing core patterns and pain.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness, Radical Self-Compassion, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are powerful tools to support clients who carry deep shame or a sense of internal brokenness. These approaches are especially helpful for those with Complex PTSD, emotional overwhelm, or histories of invalidation or trauma.
Couples Therapy: Gottman Method & Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
In working with couples, I draw primarily from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to improve communication, strengthen attachment, and repair ruptures. I also offer discernment-based work for couples who are uncertain about staying together, and integrate sex therapy when needed. My approach affirms LGBTQIA+ partnerships, polyamorous and non-monogamous structures, and other nontraditional relational constellations.
Existential Therapy
Existential therapy is well-suited for those facing questions of meaning, identity, mortality, freedom, or isolation. This modality helps clients explore what it means to live authentically, especially during grief, spiritual shifts, or major life changes.
Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy supports clients in reclaiming and re-authoring their personal stories. Together, we look at the ways trauma, family, cultural norms, or systems of oppression have shaped your story—and how to create space for liberation, agency, and wholeness.
Transpersonal Therapy
Transpersonal therapy blends psychology with spiritual exploration. This work honors states of expanded consciousness, soul work, ancestral healing, and mystical or non-ordinary experiences. It is especially helpful for those in spiritual crisis, seeking integration after psychedelic experiences, or yearning for something beyond conventional models of mental health.
If you're seeking therapy that is both grounded and expansive—one that honors your intellect, emotions, body, and spirit—I welcome you into this work.
